Blueprints AI Selected for the Autodesk APS Developer Accelerator

Blueprints AI has been selected for the Autodesk APS Developer Accelerator, connecting Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud data to automated construction documents.

Blueprints AI has been selected for the Autodesk Platform Services (APS) Developer Accelerator, Autodesk's program for teams building at the deepest layer of the AEC data stack.

The practical result for firms already running on Autodesk: your Revit models and Autodesk Construction Cloud projects now have somewhere new to go — straight to a code-compliant, permit-ready set of construction documents.

The Gap Between a Model and a Permit Set

For thirty years the center of gravity in AEC software has been the authoring tool. You draw in it, you model in it, you live in it. Every workflow in the industry was built on that assumption — and every firm eventually discovers the same thing: the authoring tool doesn't produce the deliverable.

Construction documents do. The permit set does. The spec book does. That work still falls to people, and it is the single largest unautomated cost between a design decision and a shovel in the ground.

Blueprints AI is built on the other assumption. The model is an input. The document is the product. We generate construction documents autonomously — full drawing sets, specifications, and permit packages, tuned to the building code of the exact jurisdiction the project files in.

That is the standard the industry is moving toward, and we intend to set it.

How Autodesk Data Flows Into Blueprints AI

The APS Developer Accelerator is run by Autodesk's Developer Advocacy team and selects teams building directly against the newest layers of the platform.

For us, the value is ingestion. Autodesk's data are the pipe. The generation engine on the other end is ours.

We built the ingestion layer that lets an entire Autodesk-native project walk into Blueprints AI intact.

Already on Autodesk? The Door Is Already Open

This is the part worth reading twice.

Most firms evaluating a new platform stop at the same objection: our entire history is in Revit and ACC, and we can't move it. That objection does not apply here. Blueprints AI reads Autodesk project data natively — models, sheets, project structure, office standards, back catalog. It comes across as it is.

No migration project. No data cleanup phase. No six-month services engagement. You point us at the data and we generate.

Our platform is built to connect. Tools across the Autodesk ecosystem can integrate with it, and we designed the integration surface so connecting takes days, not quarters. We did the hard interoperability work so our customers never have to think about it.

The firms that move first are the ones whose documents start producing themselves while everyone else is still drafting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Blueprints AI work with Revit?
Yes. Blueprints AI reads Revit models natively through the Autodesk AEC Data Model API. There is no export step and no plugin to install.

Can I use Blueprints AI with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360?
Yes. We connect to ACC and BIM 360 through the Autodesk Data Management API, including version history and project structure.

How is this different from construction drawing software?
Construction drawing software helps a person produce drawings faster. Blueprints AI produces the construction documents themselves — drawing sets, specifications, and permit packages generated against jurisdictional building code, with the model as the input rather than the output.

Do I have to migrate off Autodesk to use Blueprints AI?
No. Blueprints AI is designed to sit on top of an Autodesk-native workflow. Your models stay where they are.

What documents can Blueprints AI generate?
Full construction document sets — drawing sets, specifications, and permit packages — generated against the building code of the jurisdiction the project files in.

How long does onboarding take?
Days, not quarters. Because we read your existing Autodesk data as-is, there is no migration or data-preparation phase.
