Blueprints AI Changelog
We’re constantly upgrading Blueprints AI to make your projects faster, clearer, and easier to deliver. Here’s what’s new.

Revit Version Support & Compatibility
Revit 2022 export support
Blueprints AI now supports generating Revit 2022 files in addition to the default current-year Revit format. By default, projects are created in the Revit version for the year we’re in, but you can ask for 2022 version (e.g., “Use Revit 2022 for this project”) in the chat before generation. Revit 2022 exports may take a bit longer to generate because they rely on an older framework, but they keep your models compatible with legacy workflows and consultant teams.
AutoCAD Line Weight Standards
AutoCAD line weight detection
Blueprints AI can now detect line weight standards from your AutoCAD DWG library when those standards are defined in your knowledge base. The AI learns your office’s standard line weights and layer settings and applies them automatically to generated drawings, so exported CAD files follow your existing AutoCAD line weight standards without extra manual cleanup.
Mobile Access (Beta)
Mobile web access
You can now use Blueprints AI from your mobile browser instead of being blocked on smaller screens. The app is not fully optimized for mobile yet, so we show a notice when you sign in on your phone, but you can still view projects, run actions, and review results on the go.

File Downloads & Export Management
Clear download-ready status
Blueprints AI now makes it more visible when exported files are ready to download. You’ll see a clear “ready to download” state for project files (Revit, CAD, SketchUp, and PDFs), so you know exactly when your exports have finished processing.

Save exports directly to your folder
When downloading project files, you can now choose where to save them instead of everything going into your default “Downloads” folder. This makes it easier to keep Revit, CAD, SketchUp, and other exports organized in the right project folder from the start.

Simpler Onboarding & New Project Flow
File exports on Starter
Starter plan users can now request Revit, CAD, and SketchUp files generated by Blueprints AI, then download them to continue working in their own tools. Previously this was limited to higher-tier plans; now all plans can request these exports using credits.

Project workspace updates
Archive Project
You can now archive projects that are half-done, experiments, or runs that never produced an output, so your main workspace stays focused on what you’re actually moving forward.

Delete Project
Permanently remove projects you no longer need, so your account stays clean and only active or relevant work remains.

Override AI project names
Blueprints AI now suggests a project name for you, but you’re in control. Rename any project to your own title and we’ll keep using your version.

Project Chat Database Fix
Project chat message syncing
Resolved an issue where the second message in a project chat was visible in the interface but not saved to the database. All project chat messages are now properly stored and read by Blueprints AI when generating answers and project outputs, improving reliability and context accuracy.

Image Paste & Screenshots
Paste images directly
You can now paste images and screenshots (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V or ⌘+V) straight into Blueprints AI from your clipboard, making it faster to share site photos, markups, and screen captures without manual uploads.

11/08/2025
Simpler Onboarding & New Project Flow
New project & sign-in experience
We simplified the flow after you sign in or start a new project and added direct links to “How to use Blueprints AI” and the knowledge base, so new users can get started faster and find answers without leaving the app.

Project Viewer & Processing Updates
Smoother floor plan & 3D resizing
Improved the main project viewer so adjusting the vertical divider between the floor plan viewer and the 3D viewer is smoother and more reliable. Panel resizing now feels stable and responsive during project review.
Optimized context injection
Improved how Blueprints AI gathers and injects project context (chat history, site data, drawings, and settings) into the AI engine before generating results. This optimization reduces errors, makes responses more consistent across runs, and helps the AI better understand your project so zoning checks, feasibility summaries, and design outputs are more accurate.
"Project is in queue” indicator
Added a clear “Project is in queue” status on the main project page so you can see when Blueprints AI is still in queue to process your request. This visible indicator makes it easier to know that your project is waiting to run, reduces confusion about loading states, and improves transparency around processing time.
